Running Kildare Wildlife Rescue is no small feat. In 2023 alone, it cost us €85,000 to keep our centre operational.
The need for wildlife rescue is on the rise. In 2023, we received approximately 6,000 wildlife-related emails, by June 2024 we had already seen a 70% increase. These numbers highlight the increasing demand for our services and the urgency of our mission.
With your support, we can continue our vital work and ensure that even more animals receive the care they need this year. Our expenses include veterinary bills, food, housing, enrichment activities, and the general upkeep of our centre.
Every donation goes directly toward the well-being of the animals in our care.

We have a small shop at our reception where we sell locally made arts and crafts to support our rescue efforts. If you donate €250 or more in a calendar year, you can help us claim tax back on your donation at no extra cost to you. By completing a simple CHY3 form, your gift could be worth up to 45% more. It’s one of the easiest ways to make your support go even further for Ireland’s native wildlife.
CHY3 and CHY4 forms allow charities to claim tax relief on donations of €250 or more. The CHY3 form covers donations for up to 5 years. The CHY4 form is valid for a single year. Both increase the value of your donation without costing you anything extra.
